Who we are

This website is operated by Chris Darlington ("Chromatic Void"). Data is processed on a server located in Denmark.

What data we collect

Contact form

When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. We use this only to reply to you — that's our legitimate interest under GDPR.

Contact form submissions are automatically deleted after 6 months.

Mailing list

When you subscribe to release notifications, we collect your email address and the date you gave consent. We use it only to notify you of new music releases — based on the consent you gave when you subscribed.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly. When you unsubscribe, your data is deleted immediately.

Processors (third parties we share data with)

We use the following processors under written Data Processing Agreements. They act strictly on our behalf and do not use your data for their own purposes.

• Resend (US) — delivers confirmation and newsletter emails. Your email address is transferred to the United States under the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (GDPR Article 46).
• Cloudflare (EU) — hosts the static site and provides DDoS/bot protection. Cloudflare may process your IP address and request metadata to secure the site. This processing relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and abuse-free.

What we don't do

• We do not use analytics or tracking cookies.
• Cloudflare may set strictly-necessary cookies (__cf_bm, cf_clearance) for bot protection. These cannot be disabled without breaking the site's security layer; no consent is required under the ePrivacy Directive for strictly-necessary cookies.
• We do not share your data beyond the processors listed above.
• We do not use your data for marketing beyond what you explicitly consented to.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Data deletion

To request deletion of all data associated with your email address, contact us at the email below. We will delete all matching records from both the contact form and mailing list.
